Clients should be advised that a leopard hunt is a specialized operation that takes on all of the elements of a chess game. It can be time-consuming and frustrating work, but the rewards to our clients once “Mr. Spots is in the salt, are wonderful.” Leopard hunting is generally done from blinds over bait although the occasional leopard will be taken by happenstance when you are hunting something else. A leopard requires a CITES permit from the US Fish and Wildlife Service in order to be brought back into the United States. This permit must be obtained by the client prior to departure and your leopard hunt cannot begin until a copy of the valid CITES permit is presented to your Professional Hunter. BTC Safaris will handle the CITES application for our clients.
